In our rural churches in South Africa, a pretty big chunk of time goes into planning and executing our yearly Church Fete. It happened today.
And here is just some of the moments from today.
The last 4 photos was taken by my talented daughter… anyone looking for a great graphic designer next year, let me know…
BTW- Aussie friends- I am so sad about this morning’s rugby game… hate the ref…
Meanwhile, back in Harare… Isn’t the Du Plessis/ De Villiers batting partnership pure joy to watch? That is cricket for our USA friends, you don’t get rugby and cricket, but we love to hate the Aussies on those sport fields… π
Ek moet nou die Ozzies stilletjies “haat”… ek het noy ‘n helve Ozzie kleindogter!! Binne kort vertrek my dogter permanent soentoe!! π
Now that looks like a proper kerkbazaar. Over here it seems they gravitate towards a glorified flea market a little more each year.
Rubbish. Surely not ‘hate’ – just ‘we love to SQUASH the Aussies’…? π
NO, not hate… Aussie girls are too beautiful to hate the nation…
And so was I, once. Well, mebbe not ‘beautiful’. Good-looking but. She said modestly.
[grin]
We were all young and beautiful once. Now we are only beautiful… π But I am still ypung enough to go fall off my new bike this Sunday afternoon…

We don’t really hate the Aussies… I love their sportmanship- their cricket team is world class, in victory and like today, when we get to win them…
