On my road trip with my son the past two weeks we stopped there after a long day driving of nearly 1000 km. It was very hot. They promised the best milkshakes in the Northern Cape province. And it was!

The walls of this travellers delight kept me busy a while. My son remarked how a Discovery program like American Pickers would love all these old artifacts, craftfully adorning every bit of wall space…

Ons het Kaap toe gery via Meiringspoort, Oudtshoorn, Roete 62, Swellendam na Struisbaai, oor Villiersdorp deur Franschhoek na ons vriende toe in Brackenfell, en hierdie week van ons vriende in Melkbosstrand via Ceres, terug Tietiesbaai toe, toe oor N7 tot by Van rhynsdorp, Williston, Carnavon oor terug tot op N12 huis toe… wye draaie, absoluut die moeite werd!

  2. I’d say that’s a far better version of shopping centre/ mall 🙂 the modern blobs with people being herded from one side to the other in a bargain hunting frenzy really never does it for me … so this well I’d love shopping there 🙂
