Found in Nature- Cee’s Fun Photo Challenge

http://ceenphotography.com/2014/01/21/cees-fun-foto-challenge-found-in-nature/

I want to share my photo of an Impala ram with you. A lot of American readers might ask where a Chev Impala occurs in nature, but then… it was named after this small antelope in Southern Africa…  There are quite a lot of them in our region, which is renowned for it’s game farms.

There is the connection between a fisherman and his fish…

There is a strong connection between man and nature...

There is a strong connection between man and nature… and brothers…

There is a connection between man and beast...

There is a connection between man and beast…

There can be important connections between brother and sister...

There can be important connections between brother and sister…

But the strongest connection might be between mother and child...

But the strongest connection might be between mother and child…

As you can see: family is a very important connection to us. We are not always that successful in fishing and hiking. But our connections can be a huge source of fun!

PS- Both the fish and the python was caught and released… some children too… 🙂

The Path in the Bush- Cee’s Which Way

http://ceenphotography.com/2013/10/30/cees-which-way-challenge-no-12/

I like to share parts of my world in the South African Bushveld with you… Mainly because it can be so totally different from where you call home…

This is one of the photos taken on my walkabout Saturday Morning, in the Bush about 15 km from my home… On these paths you just never know what you are going to see next in the line of wildlife, trees, or birds- we are blessed with the most amazing species of all those all around us…

In Hollywood the tourists drive around, looking for the stars’ homes. We have one too! This is the home of Pumba the Warthog from Lion King… but he was not home…

This is his brother, living about 8 km away at another holiday resort (taken in September this year)

And this is just some of the scenes that you can find along the way here in my part of the world…  (maybe I am stretching the boundaries of this challenge a little bit here… 🙂  )

“I cannot pretend to be partial about the colours. I rejoice with the brilliant ones, and am genuinely sorry for the poor browns.” – Winston Churchill

—————————————————————————

I do not know why you from the other continents give the colour Brown such lip in the comments! Brown is the colour of Africa!. It is the colour of the earth, the colour of so many beautiful specimens of wildlife. Brown is the colour of my beloved’s eyes… Brown is the colour of life, but also the colour of sh…. let’s rather not go there…

So what do I have in my archives of Brown. No, not the uniform of our South African Army… I don’t have that digital anyway…

Let’s Go Brown!
