Word Riders Day 2

We have no mobile signal at the moment, staying over at a guest farm near the Kango caves in Oudtshoorn.  This morning was beautiful, we started riding at 7h 15,  Route 62 is spactacular just after sunrise, with the mist in the valleys. I had the privilege to preach in Ladismith.

Afterwards we had the amazing Huisriverspass just before Calitzdorp.  Beautiful riding at it’s best.  It was just so hot, it felt like 45 degrees C!

We are sleeping at a guest farm outside Oudtshoorn, our Ostrich capital. Tomorrow more riding. Sorry, short post, really tired… and no signal…

Our guest farm…
Oh, and the  church at Schoemanshoek gave us a very good dinner, outside in the orchard underneath the stars..

On this trip we really enjoy motorbikes and friendship a lot!

That’s all for today, folks!

  1. Lovely to see the old country, the roads and the fire! The eternal flame South Africans must have to enjoy their evening outside! Thanks for that, it’s raining here! Liz
