Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Statues, Carvings, Sculptures
The Current Series
This is the second week of our current series and the topic is statues, carvings and sculptures. They can be really small in size or huge. See my entry at the bottom of this post for examples. I hope you have some fun with this challenge.

I had such a good trip to Spain in 2011, when I went to do a part of the Camino de Santiago. The Spanish have a lot of statues!
In Madrid, in the Parque de Retiro, is a statue for the devil. Or- The Fallen Angel-
And the next day I started walking my Camino de Santiago in Léon, and there one of the first sights was a statue of a pilgrim- there are LOTS of Pilgrim Statues in the north of Spain! I liked this one!
And there you have two human traits- remembering evil, and searching for good…
Cool statues!
I know it’s very late, but here’s my photo challenge post:

The more I see these pics of the pilgrimage the more I know I must investigate!!
A life changing experience!
Did you walk the whole route? Were you already a Child of God before you began. I think you were so it must have been special for you to say life changing!
Only from Léon to Santiago, 317km with the options I chose… Life changing in the sense that it was the first time ever I had 3 weeks of silence, thought, reflection. Coupled with Bob Buford’s book Half Time… The timing for this was good in my life! No, I have been a believer since the 80’s…
It must have been special. I thought that was the whole route… I must look at your blog at the entries and learn more…
Hier is die blog wat ek toe geskryf het- al die poste is gelys aan die regterkant- http://ewaldsecamino.wordpress.com/

These captures are wonderful! Thanks for playing along!!
Thanks Cee!
