Posted on September 29, 2013 by Ed
Last days of September and since time flies lets do birds this week. One or a whole flock, big or small, live or a figurine or statue its up to you to show your birds, that did’nt sound right.

Near my sister in law’s house (near Sligo, Ireland) there is this beautiful park. We South Africans are amazed to see how young mothers and their children can go walking through wooded areas, and expect to come out on the other side of it alive and unmolested… In this park there is a flock of white swans, and they create a peaceful setting for the walk:
I just wonder- is Ireland ALWAYS cloudy and rainy?
wow, what a beautiful shot, loved the green backgrounds on the 1st shot
Very nice. Swans are so regal looking. 🙂
They are lovely. I hope to be able to carve out a bit of time today to participate in this photoprompt. Let there be winged creatures. Take care.

These swans are just beautifull Vos and you’ve captured them so well! Great selection for the challenge. 😀
Not always raining! This summer was practically a drought! !
Beautiful shots!!
Thanks Skye!

If you want sunshine in Ireland you have to come to the South East – not Waterford, but Wexford. And if you are into bird photography, then a visit to the Saltee Islands is a must.
Great shots, we never get tired of bird pics, I’m doing a whole week of them..:-)
