The Impala lilies are beautiful in winter...

Just to show that I have seen more than aeroplanes this week- here is an Impala lily in bloom at one of my congregation members’ front door- lovely to see such color in winter. Taken with my cellphone… I now see that one’s focus is on the background, so sorry about that… I only took two photos, then they answered the doorbell…

      • Oh, I know! Hubby also loves taking photo’s with his cellphone. I am not a huge lover of any phones though because of the “talking thing” you have to do with them. πŸ˜† But both those shots are beautiful and you’ve demonstrated how focus can make a difference. πŸ˜€

    • as a fellow South African I found your reply very interesting. But when I googled it I got a plant that is known in SA as Frangipiani. And then again I am not sure that I have ever seen their seeds. If you do not mind I would appreciate it if you would send my a photo of your bonsai to

      • I also googled frangipiani and yes, those are the real kalachuchi. People here call the impala lily the same too, I guess a hybrid sort? I’m not really very technical. πŸ™‚ Anyway, sent email already.
