The furthest I have ever been from my home in Sunny South Africa was Portsoy, at the northern coast of Scotland on the North Sea… It is a beautiful fishing village with a beautiful harbour… Remember that this photos was taken in November- not Scotland’s brightest sunshiny days…
I really love Scotland! I have also been there in Summer, I love the natural beauty, and the friendly Scots.
A last one, on another trip in Summer: Eilan Donan Castle, as seen in some James Bond movies, and also Sean Connery’s Entrapment movie… 
Scotland is the furthest place I have ever been from home. But I would love to see the USA, I think Hawaii is probably the furthest spot from my home on the planet! If any billionaires read this: I would love a plane ticket to Hawaii, with a nice stopover on the Continental USA… please?

I would not survive in that cold! Winter in my town is 3-26 degrees Celcius…
I don’t love the cold either. I have endured shoveling on a -50 day. I am built “Canadian tough!!”
Scotland is amazing isn’t it. I went to Loch Ness once, didn’t see the monster but was definitely bowled over by the scenery 🙂

Baie mooi! Maar dit was ‘n grys en vaal dag toe ons daar deur was, amper ‘n polsesny dag…
ek vermoed Skotland kan net grys wees!
uitgewerk dat dit ook die verste wat ek van die huis af was.
Somer is baie mooi groen daar, en herfs het die mooiste herfskleure langs die forelstrome- dis eintlik baie mooi- ek was nog net nie in die sneeu daar nie. Ek sou maklik daar wou gaan bly dink ek, ek is mal oor die plek!
