Today, dear 3 readers, was a Most Interesting day on the bike…
It started with my right mirror stripping it’s thread, and then I could see NOTHING behind me.
We had an Awesome first visit this morning at Nelspruit Primary School. At the other schools we were there to hand out Bibles and pray for the children. At this school the pupils divided into small groups and prayed for us! We were so blessed!
After that we had the scenic but dangerous drive to Barberton. While the rest of the group visited the schools there, I went to the Ng Kerk, and uses some Quickset Steel to fix that mirror.
After the rest of the group joined me there, we had some coffee and snacks, prepared by the congregation.
After we left, it started to rain. We rode to Badplaas through thick mist, and it was really scary at times.
From Badplaas the road went over Carolina, Bethal, Hendrina and finally Secunda. It went theough some ugly coalmining areas, and the town qe are in tonight is famous for its fuel out of coal industry- a heavy polluter of the earth.
But the people here are hosting an excellent evening with hot food and lovely pudding. We were cold and miserable, but now we can look back on today, and be happy that we also completed today’s journey safely and with God’s grace…
